"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
